Alloy steels are formed by the addition of one or more of the following elements: chromium, nickel, molybdenum, vanadium, tungsten, titanium, and copper,as well as manganese, silicon, and small amounts of other alloying elements.Alloy steels are divided into two types:Low alloy steels with under 10 percent of added elements and high alloy steels with over 10 Percent of added elements.
Alloy steels have special properties dertermined by the mixture and the the amount of the other metals added.
