DESCRIPTION
Grade 13-8Mo (UNS S13800) is a martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel with excellent strength, toughness and good corrosion resistance. It is a through-hardening alloy, which allows it to be used with large cross section. Good transverse toughness properties can be achieved by precise chemical composition control, low carbon content and double remelting(VIM+VAR). 13-8Mo offers a high level of mechanical properties under severe environmental condtions.
APPLICATION
Common applications for steel 13-8 include: aircraft components, food processing, oil&gas,
pumps and valves, fasteners,etc. ·

Solution Heated |
PH 13-8 steel is solution heat treated by heating to 1700±25℉（925±15℃), holding for 15-30 minutes at temperature, followed by air cool as required to below 90℉(32℃） |

Aging-Hardening |
Precipation-hardening(aging) is conducted at a variety of temperatures from range 900-1150℉(510-621℃). See the tensile property in details. |
