DESCRIPTION
PH15-5, ASTM-A564, AMS 5659, AMS 5862, is a precipitation-hardenable stainless steel equiped with high strength,high hardness and good corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 600℉（316℃）. It is a variant of the old 17-4 and compared to17-4PH, 15-5 offers better transverse toughness and ductility, better mechanical properties in larger cross-sections, and better forgeability.

Solution Heat Treatment:
Heat to temperature 1900 ± 25 ℉(1040 ± 15℃), then cool as required to below 60 ℉(16℃).
